The nationwide search for the best shaped and athletic body is finally over as winners of the Slimmers World Great Bodies 2019 were proclaimed last September 3 held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resort World Manila.
From the 28 candidates who joined the event, the Mr. and Ms. Great Bodies 2019 was awarded to Ernest Sto. Tomas of SM Marikina and Gia Gapay of Legaspi, while 1st Runner-up goes to Terry Surjan of Adriatico and Leila Ceballos of SM Marikina; 2nd Runner-up are Ithan Najafi of SM Megamall and Rain Tejano of Trafalgar.
Special awards were given to the following contestants: Ithan Najafi and Gia Gapay for Mr. & Ms. Plantronics; Sean Ngo and Tessa Gimapayan for Mr. & Ms. Fitspiration by Matrix; Ernest Sto. Tomas and Gia gapay for Best in Aerobics and Best in Creative Posing; Terry Surjan and Leila Ceballos for Best in Swimwear; Jerome Salvado and Macaria Magtoto for Mr. & Ms. Congeniality; Jaf Salazar and Aimee Sy for Mr. & Ms. Personality; Rish Siy for Internet’s Most Popular; Alvin Lim and Regina Mariano for Mr. and Ms. Great Skin; Richman Ngo and Rain Tejano for Mr. and Ms. Photogenic; lastly the Mr. & Ms. Happy Loser was given to Ronquillo Velasquez and Darryl Marie Santos.
This year’s Slimmers World Great Bodies 2019 theme was inspired from the Lost City of Atlantis.
