OPPO Philippines is expected to launch its upcoming OPPO Reno10 series 5G by next month.

And last July 5, we had the opportunity to attend the OPPO Reno10 series pre-briefing event for a sneak peek of its latest features and a hands-on experience with the new phones.

For our hands-on review, we will share our experience with the new OPPO Reno10 Pro 5G variant.

We will post our full review in the coming weeks, but for now, allow us to share with you some of the noteworthy features found on the OPPO Reno10 series 5G.

Telephoto Portrait Camera

OPPO aspired to elevate smartphone photography with the new Reno10 Series 5G. The new Reno10 series 5G boasts a professional Telephoto Portrait Camera system that can produce natural, beautiful, and clear portrait image quality. You can now take great photos without even the need to shoot the subjects up close. This is one of the major selling points of this model.

The telephoto portrait camera for the OPPO Reno10 5G and Reno10 Pro 5G is equipped with a 32MP camera lens. But on the OPPO Reno10 Pro+ 5G, this phone will feature the industry’s first 64MP telephoto portrait camera.

Using the telephoto portrait camera lens, you can shoot with the Pro-Portrait mode feature to capture high-quality and professional-looking photos with a beautiful blurred bokeh background. It is almost like using a professional DSLR camera.

Here are some sample photos we took with the OPPO Reno10 Pro 5G.

Looking at our sample photos, the main camera takes good shots in daylight or indoors with bright ambient lighting. For our portrait shots, we could say they are pretty solid with the subject well separated from the background. You just need to find the right depth of field when you adjust it to achieve a good blur.

We will post more photos and videos in our full review.

Powerful and Outstanding Flagship Chipsets

The three models of the new OPPO Reno10 series are fitted with prominent flagship chipsets.

For the Reno10 5G, it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 5G processor, the Reno10 Pro 5G is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G processor, while the Reno10 Pro + 5G is expected to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

SuperVOOC Fast Charging

To quickly juice up the Reno10 series 5G, it will support the SuperVOOC feature which is the brand’s proprietary fast charging technology.

A much faster 100W SuperVOOC fast charging for the Reno10 Pro+ 5G, an 80W SuperVOOC for the Reno10 Pro 5G, and 67W SuperVOOC for the Reno10 5G.

So far, these are among the key features we can share at the moment that sports all three variants of the new OPPO Reno10 series 5G.

Stay tuned for more updates as we will post the full review of the OPPO Reno10 Pro 5G in a couple of weeks.
