DiskarTech is the country’s first all-in-one “Taglish” inclusion super app developed by Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) held a virtual media rountable discussion to unveil its new added services to the financial mobile app.
It also has partnered with Viber to help customers educate on financial literacy thru building a community and further share experience of the mobile app thru a fun way by using its very own Viber stickers.
Loans Marketplace
For MSME’s, RCBC will now offer microloans soon to be available to DiskarTech users via the app’s “loans marketplace.” It will give users the power to choose the loan product from various lenders that best fits their needs. Diskartech users can choose among the available products under various loan types based on their desired loan amount, terms and borrower profile. The application and submission of documents shall also be done thru the app.
Among the products that will be initially offered are the following: Doctor’s Loan, Car Loan, Truck Loan, Motorcycle Loan, PUV/Taxi Loan, Multicab Loan, Tricycle Loan, Housing Loan, OFW loan and Seafare’s loan.

First Visayan Finance App
From being the first Taglish finance app in the market it now sets out to become the first to offer a Visayan interface. In its pursuit to bring genuine financial inclusion to the Filipino mass market, DiskarTech shall offer its platform in the second most spoken Philippine language.
Thru the new feature it hopes to introduce financial literacy and to provide support in banking transactions to more users.

As part of its savings campaign, DiskarTech began this month its “Ipon Galing Galing” promo. It’s a weekly “Doble Ipon” prize, equivalent to each raffle winner’s average daily balance. A grand prize winner at the end of the six-week promo will also win a “Triple Ipon” prize that is two times the winner’s average daily balance.
Raffle entries are earned by making qualified in-app transactions such as bills payment, prepaid top-up, and purchase of insurance and telemedicine products can also earn users an “Ipon Reward” equivalent to two percent of qualified transaction amounts.
These cash credits are deposited straight to their interest-bearing savings accounts.
DiskarTech Viber Community
DiskarTech has also partnered with Viber Philippines, a cross-platform voice over IP (VoIP) and instant messaging (IM) software app, to offer DiskarTech users to share its experience with the app with its very own Madiskarteng Pinoy Viber stickers.
A Viber community on digital financial literacy has been created to its millions of Filipino users. Anyone will be able to join and receive helpful information and tips on how to effectively manage their finances in a madiskarte way.
The mobile app DiskarTech aims to cater to the unbanked and underserved Filipinos, especially those living in grassroots communities, and bring them into the formal financial system. The app will serve as a reliable and convenient platform for multiple useful features including sachet banking products, digital banking services, and even quick healthcare solutions.
The app is free for download on the Google Play Store and App Store. Since its launch, Diskartech has seen an influx of downloads and new registrants.
Since its debut barely nine months ago, it has become the fastest local finance app to breach one million downloads, been judged as the Philippines’ breakout finance app, and enabled previously unbanked Filipinos to join the formal financial system.
