Global smartphone brand Vivo has been pushing the boundaries of industry standards with its trendsetting innovations. Its newest flagship Vivo V9 is no different. After all, it is Vivo’s latest design success in fulfilling its promise of a FullView™ Display.
The display features a 6.3-inch screen with a 19:9 aspect ratio without sacrificing its compact design. For this model, its screen size is 5.2% higher than the previous flagship smartphone, the V7+. The FullView™ Display technology also gives V9 around 18% more display area than traditional phones with 16:9 screens, reducing the side bezels by 19% to a mere 1.75mm. The brand achieved this by putting a notch on the top of the smartphone to house the sensors.
With this new and improved version of the FullView™ Display, Vivo V9 users will have a more meaningful experience when they watch videos, play games, take photos, among others—in Full HD+ display.
The V9’s 90% screen-to-body ratio allows users to enjoy videos or games without having to squint their eyes or put the smartphone closer to their face. It will be easier to see the tiny details of a video or a game, so users or gamers can focus on what truly matters.
And Vivo did all of these without sacrificing design. Vivo polished the V9 in an ergonomically optimized 3D Curved Cover design for a comfortable grip.
The V9 also offers a 24-megapixel front camera with AI technology that features upgraded Face Beauty and lighting functions—because Vivo knows how selfies are important to the young generation.
To further power up Vivo’s newest smartphone for hours-long usage, the V9 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 Octa-core with 4GB RAM, a 3260mAh battery, and the Android 8.1-based Funtouch OS 4.0. For more fun, the Vivo V9 is also provides ample storage with its 64GB ROM and a slot for microSD card up to 256GB.
