Proudly Filipino made Esports Platform ‘KALARO’ ready to serve PH online gaming community

It was excitement and a momentous event indeed for Jun D. Lasco, Kalaro software architect and Founder of The-AsiaGroup.com Inc./ Pnex Int’l Corporation, as they officially introduced the Kalaro Esports platform last October 12 during its online press conference.

Another breakthrough innovation for the Philippine Esports industry, Kalaro is the first fully-integrated and end-to-end gaming and social networking web-app.

Kalaro is made by an original team of 4 Filipino tech experts and business leaders with more than 85 years of combined experience. The platform has tournament management and corporate brand sponsorship features to cater to more than 43 million Esports enthusiasts and companies in the Philippines.

A First in the Philippine Esports Industry

Kalaro serves as a virtual community for Esports players, coaches, teams, influencers, team owners, leagues, and Esports fans. With Kalaro, members can meet other gamers, discuss the latest trends in gaming, get updates about the upcoming events/ tournaments, watch their favorite “shoutcasters” in live streams, and interact with them in real-time.

Moreover, Kalaro aims to hone the skills of Filipino Esports athletes to prepare them to compete in local and international arenas. It serves as a central hub for tournaments where gamers are provided with a complete facility to launch and manage competitions on the web-app.

Kalaro also created a facility for corporate brands to set up online storefronts. The platform has a dedicated panel that allows companies to advertise, sponsor, and sell gaming rigs directly to the usually elusive gamers market.

The platform, developed using Google’s Progressive Web App framework running on Amazon Web Services infrastructure, was crafted in collaboration with international corporate tech-brands namely National Computer Systems (NCS) of Singapore and ERNI from Switzerland. Kalaro also got support from local companies Union Bank of the Philippines, DragonPay, GCash, and Globe Labs to make transactions seamless, safe, and secure.
