Boomi, a Dell Technologies business, and leading provider of cloud-based integration platform-as-a-service (iPaaS), today announced the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) edition of its virtual event series, ‘Out of this World,’ which will take place on November 12, 2020.
The event will see Boomi customers from Australia, New Zealand, South-East Asia, and Japan – such as Australian Red Cross, Native Union, the University of Canberra, and JERA – discuss key strategic priorities and challenges, and unveil how connecting data, system, processes, apps, and people has helped enable Integrated Experiences that instantly connect users to what they want. With Boomi, customers have accelerated digital transformation initiatives that resulted in business resilience and operational recovery during the pandemic.
Boomi will host ‘Out of This World’ in place of its annual Boomi World conference. The event will focus on ensuring attendees learn how to achieve data readiness, pervasive connectivity, and user engagement by showcasing best practices from leading organisations across a range of industries, including energy and utilities, ecommerce, education, and aged care.
“The plethora of new and ‘advanced’ technologies and services that are available today have created a slew of new opportunities, but organisations in APJ often find themselves overburdened by increased complexity as the number of systems, services, applications, cloud, and data they run skyrockets,” said Ajit Melarkode, Vice President APJ at Boomi.
“Investment in the digital transformation of business practices, products, and organisations in Asia-Pacific was estimated to amount US$375.8 billion last year, yet there is often a missing link preventing those assets from communicating and collaborating, creating detrimental silos and slowing speed-to-market. ‘Out of this World’ will showcase how Boomi customers from our region have successfully implemented cloud-first strategies to overcome operational and economic adversities, serve flexible and remote work policies, and provide a connected foundation from which to continue to adapt their businesses,” said Melarkode.
