Toyota Motor Philippines partners with Lalamove Automotive

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), Toyota Financial Services Philippines (TFS), Toyota Taytay, Rizal (TTR) and Lalamove Automotive partner to bring mobility to more Filipinos with the Toyota Lite Ace. From L-R: TTR Vehicle Sales Manager Fernando Lim, Lalamove Automotive Assistant Operations Manager John Vincent Tuazon, Lalamove Automotive Marketing Lead Mikee De Chavez, TTR President and General Manager Zellyn Lim, TMP Vice President for Sales Distribution Elijah Marcial, TMP Fleet Sales Distribution Head Patricia Hechanova, TTR Assistant Vehicle Sales Manager Faye Francese Calma, TMP Fleet Officer Michael Castañeda, TMP Fleet Specialist Masataka Asahi, TTR Assistant General Manager Connie Salang, TFS Provincial Sales Area Head Adrian Lobitana, TFS Provincial Sales Officer James Del Mundo and TFS Provincial Sales Officer Christian Jonir Fajardo.

Leading mobility company Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has partnered with leading logistics provider Lalamove through its auto brand, Lalamove Automotive, with the introduction of the commercial vehicle Toyota Lite Ace as a transport partner.

Aspiring and existing Lalamove operators are now able to purchase the Lite Ace Panel Van variant through this partnership, under Lalamove Automotive’s Vehicle Ownership Program.

With micro, small and medium enterprises or MSMEs’ mobility needs continuously increasing, TMP, through one of its dealerships Toyota Taytay, Rizal (TTR), together with Toyota Financial Services Philippines (TFS), moved to answer the demand by creating an affordable pricing scheme for the Lite Ace. TTR and TFS then collaborated with Lalamove to provide this lite-on-the-pocket pricing as an option for partner operators, giving them the convenience to grow their transport and delivery services.

The TTR-Lalamove Automotive Business Roadshow held last March introduced to current and potential operators the opportunity to have the Lite Ace as a mobility partner in transporting goods and services for Lalamove customers. The Panel Van variant, in particular, lets Lalamove partner operators transport more goods as it is within the required payload capacity for Lalamove vehicles with its redesigned compact body and efficient engine. Customers who book moving services through the Lalamove app and choose the Lite Ace can be assured of the quality, durability and reliability one can expect from a Toyota vehicle.

In support of the entrepreneurial spirit of kababayans, a series of caravans is being rolled out by TTR and Lalamove Automotive to reach out to more potential operators. Under the program and with every Lite Ace purchase, a partner operator will enjoy a comprehensive accident and repair coverage by Toyota Insure and free Periodic Maintenance Service from 1K KM until the 40K KM checkup.

Further strengthening the collaboration, plans for the program include the possibility of using vehicles from T-SURE, Toyota’s Quality Pre-Owned Cars program, for Lalamove operations.

With its affordable price, easy operation and maintenance, the Toyota Lite Ace is designed to be Filipino MSMEs’ reliable business partner. Available in the Panel Van, Pickup, Cargo and FX variants, the Lite Ace’s high efficiency, flexible load capacity and low fuel consumption enable drivers and businesses to maximize their trips and increase savings.
