RCBC continues to help clients attain financial freedom

The journey to financial freedom starts with clearly defined but realistic goals depending on individual aspirations and long-term goals, according to a leading financial planner.

Fitz Villafuerte, registered financial planner, said during the RCBC Webinar on Investment Retirement Planning, that depending on individual aspirations and long term goals, there are countless investment options available for aspiring investors.

“It is crucial to start by defining your objectives and setting realistic goals,” Villafuerte said during the webinar sponsored by the Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. (RCBC) last June 23.

During the webinar, Villafuerte introduced the concept of having SMART Goals, an acronym for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-bound investment plans.

“Whether it’s buying a car or securing a comfortable retirement, financial planning entails selecting the most suitable investment vehicle to reach your destination,” he said.

Villafuerte also mentioned the benefits of different types of investment, including liquidity investments, which offers accessibility and growth, allowing your money to multiply over time.

Cash flow investments, on the other hand, generate a steady income stream, providing financial stability.

Investments, according to Villafuerte, can be categorized into short-term, medium-term, and long-term, each carrying varying levels of risk and growth potential.

To start investing, he advised investors to explore trusted institutions such as RCBC, which provide safe platform for investing online, as well as platforms like Bonds.ph and Treasury.gov.ph for government bond investments.

This free webinar is one of RCBC’s initiatives aligned with its advocacy on Financial Literacy. It is exclusively offered to corporate clients availing of the ACCESS program which is the bank’s Payroll Marketing Program. Companies who avail of the bank’s Payroll service can extend this benefit to their employees.
