It’s 2026, and HONOR Philippines is getting ready to launch the all-new HONOR X9d 5G. Before its official release, we had the chance to try it out, and as usual, we didn’t go easy on it. We put the phone through a series of durability tests to see how tough it really is in real-life situations.
We started with the basics: a smash test and a drop test. Accidental drops happen all the time, so we wanted to see how the HONOR X9d 5G would handle sudden impacts. Surprisingly, the phone held up well, showing no serious damage after multiple drops.
Next, we pushed things further with different water-related tests. We did a chop test, spill test, a wash test, and to make things more intense, we also tried a high water pressure test. After all these, the phone was still working normally…no screen issues, no touch problems, and no shutdowns.
