vivo V27e – Unboxing and First Impressions

Last March 2023, vivo unveiled its latest addition to its V lineup with the vivo V27 series. During the official launch, vivo shows off two available variants for the V27 series – the vivo V27 5G and vivo V27e.

The new vivo V27 series was dubbed as The Aura Portrait Master which the company encourages its users to radiate their best aura using their new technology with the Aura Light.

For our review, we have the vivo V27e model, let’s unbox it and see its amazing features!

Unboxing

The packaging of the vivo V27e is made of thick cardboard material clad in an all-silver colored box with a holographic vivo logo on the top cover.

Opening the box you’ll immediately see the vivo v27e unit and then right at the very bottom holds all the included accessories.

Inside the box, you have everything you need with the following contents:

Design and Display

We have the Glory Black color that shows a nice glitter effect when you tilt it sideways. It has a flat frame design with a thickness of 7.70mm which is comfortable to hold.

Located at the back, the rectangular-shaped camera module houses a triple-camera set-up placed in a straight vertical line along with the Aura Light. You can also spot a vivo logo positioned at the bottom left.

Found at the bottom, you’ll find the USB-C port, speaker grille, primary microphone, and hybrid SIM tray. The hybrid SIM tray can only accommodate on its second slot either a SIM card or a microSD card for storage expansion. Missing on this device is a 3.5mm audio jack for those using wired headphones.

On the right side holds the volume rocker button and power/sleep button.

The left side is clean no buttons or anything placed there.

The top of the phone has a secondary noise-canceling microphone.

It has a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics and additional security.

Hardware

It has an 8GB RAM with support for a virtual RAM expansion up to another 8GB bringing the total memory to 16GB. It has a large 256GB internal storage.

It has a 4600mAh battery with support for a 66W Fast Charge to quickly juice up the phone.

Camera

The vivo V27e is equipped with a 64MP OIS Ultra Sensing triple rear camera using a Sony IMX 766 sensor and a 32MP HD front camera for your selfie.

It also has a built-in hybrid EIS + OIS Dual Ultra-Stabilization feature which helps you get stable photographs and videos.

The new AURA Light Portrait System offers studio-standard lighting to enhance images or videos of your face and skin to look bright, radiant, and much better. It’s a mini studio in your pocket!
