Streamtech Fiber Internet introduced service upgrades this Q3

Streamtech Fiber Internet recently introduced this third quarter of 2021 some major service upgrades that will benefit its existing subscribers and prospective customers. To better provide quality internet services and to keep up with the rapidly increasing demand for connectivity, Streamtech announced a two-pronged enhancement currently in the works.

First, Streamtech is upgrading the capacity for both its network and bandwidth. This means improvement for the supply of fiber optic internet and the physical infrastructure where they pass through, to avoid congestion of signal in the whole system. Hence, it will help lessen the occurrence of slow or intermittent internet connection. Second is the advancement of its bandwidth management. This is to properly control the flow of connection, for assurance of quality service.

The Cavite-based internet service provider offers affordable home internet plans, cable TV services (via Planet Cable), and cable-and-internet bundles to key cities and municipalities in the country. It also offers dedicated internet access to both SMEs and large businesses alike. As one of the younger telco players, it is deemed as the Philippines’ newest wave in fiber internet.

Currently, Streamtech services areas in the provinces of Ilocos Norte, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Bataan, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon, Camarines Sur, Metro Manila, Guimaras, and Iloilo. Granted a congressional franchise under Republic Act. No. 11089, series of 2018, it aims to expand its services nationwide. And with its fiber-optic backbone link and multiple Gigabit connectivity, Streamtech is confident that it will be able to give every Filipino access to fast, reliable, and unlimited fiber internet.

Also, as part of the upgrade to its customer service functions, Streamtech also launched its very own Viber Superbot chat service—SAM, short for “Support and Assistance Mate.”
