Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation has officially unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ to the PH market. The launch was held at the Grand Hyatt Manila, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig with its brand ambassadors, Solenn Heussaff and Georgina Wilson, who hosted the event. Renowned photographer BJ Pascual joins the duo as another brand ambassadors for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+.

The Galaxy S9 64GB retails for P45,990 while the Galaxy S9+ in 64GB P52,990 for the 128GB P55,990 and the 256GB for P60,990. Available in Midnight Black and Coral Blue, plus a new chic and stylish shade: Lilac Purple.
The tech giant has equipped their new flagship smartphones with the most advanced features that focuses on the way we communicate or express ourselves via photos, videos and emojis. Here are some of the notable features both included in the new Galaxy S9 and S9+:
The Super Slow Mo feature can capture up to 960 frames per second, it is four times slower than standard slow-mo settings, making you record everything in detail and making everyday moments spectacular. It also offer automatic Motion Detection that enables the video recording to start once movement is detected in the frame. You can now customize your videos with a wide selection of background music or create looping GIF files to send and share with friends.
Dual Aperture and Super Low Light Camera

It also has a multi-frame noise reduction which the camera can further quickly process the 12 images it uses per shot to reduce noise.
Now you can express yourself in the best way possible with Augmented Reality (AR) Emoji. It analyzes your photo and map out over 100 facial features to create your very own mini 3D model, which you can send as stickers or GIFs.
Virtual Surround Experience
The new smartphones offers stereo speakers tuned by renowned acoustics brand AKG and supports Dolby Atmos, giving that 360-degree sound effect, combining both of these features provide cinematic entertainment experiences on-the-go.
Bixby, Samsung’s intelligence platform added some improvements thru the integrated camera. Now users can learn more about their surroundings providing useful information via real-time object detection and recognition. Bixby can now translate foreign languages and currency with Live Translation.
Entertainment and Performance
Samsung S9 and S9+ sports the company’s famous bezel-free Super AMOLED Infinity Display with the trademark curved Quad HD screen (5.8 inches for S9 and 6.2 inches for S9+) and direct sunlight will not hinder the screen from producing stunning displays.
It operates on 4GB and 6GB RAM respectively that is expandable up to 400GB, with its IP68 water and dust resistance. It efficiently powers up via wireless charging and with an enhanced security via iris, face, and fingerprint recognition.
The S9 and S9+ are the first flagship phones to carry the SmartThings App, allowing you to manage your Samsung appliances and devices at home anytime, anywhere.
