Over the past year, a lot of frontliner-focused charitable endeavors have been targeted towards healthcare workers. However, there are also other types of frontliners who have dedicated themselves to keeping thing smooth-sailing and orderly.
In this period of uncertainty, M Lhuillier Financial Services, Inc. acknowledges the efforts of these frontliners. In February, they focused their endeavors to the people who manage border checkpoints and keep traffic flowing.
On February 18, 2021, M Lhuillier turned over uniforms to the traffic enforcement team of Ormoc City in Eastern Visayas. These uniforms would be used in their daily operations to have a unified and professional look, as well as be comfortable as they manage the city traffic.
Meanwhile, in Mindanao, M Lhuillier also conducted a feeding program to the Philippine National Police manning the checkpoint on the border between Misamis Occidental and Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur. The event, held on February 24, 2021, provided the checkpoint personnel received packed lunches, bottles of purified drinking water, and M Lhuillier-branded towels and t-shirts.
Both these initiatives aim to show appreciation to the hardworking frontliners, who are essentially our modern-day heroes as they work to protect the people and impose order especially during the pandemic
