Rimini Street Announces Adoption of Four-Day Workweek Model for its Global Workforce Throughout 2023

Rimini Street, Inc. (Nasdaq: RMNI), a global provider of enterprise software products and services, the leading third-party support provider for Oracle and SAP software products, and a Salesforce partner, today announced Rimini Street’s extension of its four-day workweek program, named “Fabulous Fridays!,” through 2023 after reviewing favorable results during its six-month trial phase in the second half of 2022.

Rimini Street Listens, Measures, and Acts to Create a Better Workplace for All

The bold decision to launch “Fabulous Fridays!” in July of 2022 was an acknowledgement by the senior executive team of the fatigue and stress accumulated over the past two years by all global citizens who had been challenged with navigating the devastating global pandemic and economic uncertainty, and its ongoing impact on the workforce.

The program was set to last during the summer months of July and August, allowing colleagues of Rimini Street to enjoy the benefits of a three-day weekend for relaxation, refocus, and realignment in their personal and professional lives. With the announcement of “Fabulous Fridays!,” Rimini Street launched its employee listening platform called, “Make it Better!,” where colleagues were encouraged to submit suggestions for how to improve and “make better” operations, processes, and executions within the Company. The “Make it Better!” committee received numerous feedback on “Fabulous Fridays!” and how it transformed employees’ personal and professional lives for the better, allowing for greater focus during the work week.

After reviewing the impact of the four-day workweek across the “4C’s” of Rimini Street – Company, Clients, Colleagues, and Community – and satisfied that it had not negatively impacted the quality and speed in which the Company served its external and internal clients, nor the viability of meeting its long-term business goals, the executive team decided to extend the program until the end of the year, and now to the end of 2023.

“At Rimini Street, we deeply respect the values that make the Company not just a place of employment, but a home to our 1,800 and growing members of the Rimini Family. And our open-door policy allows us to continue to listen, learn, and evolve Rimini Street, remaining a top workplace and employer that is globally recognized and appreciated by our colleagues and the industry,” said Seth Ravin, CEO of Rimini Street.

Designing a Four-Day Workweek Rooted in Sustainability and Stability

As a Company recognized for its unmatched quality of premium-level enterprise software support and services, which includes 24/7/365 availability of its 800 engineers around the globe, and an average response time of two minutes for priority cases, it was essential to Rimini Street that its business model remained intact during the design of “Fabulous Fridays!.”

Colleagues in client-facing teams were empowered to swap “Fabulous Fridays!” for “Marvelous Mondays!,” or “Terrific Thursdays!,” allowing Rimini Street to continue operating effectively, while achieving greater employee satisfaction ratings.

“Our global service delivery team of hundreds strong across 17 countries are enthused with our four-day workweek model. We continue to confidently provide an average 4.9 client satisfaction rating, where 5.0 is considered excellent, and solving some of the most complex cases to keep our thousands of clients running optimally, all while enjoying a greater work-life balance,” said Craig Mackereth, senior vice president of Global Support Delivery at Rimini Street.
