Design and Build Quality
The charging case of the WIKO Buds 10 looks like a pill-shaped design with a sloping edge on its general corners.
It is made of durable plastic material clad in an all-white glossy finish.
A WIKO logo can be seen at the hinge of the cover lid located at the back while a USB-C port, LED indicator and a function key button found at the bottom of the case.
The Buds 10 features the bulb and stem design made with an all-plastic body material. The exisiting build quality made the earbuds lightweight at 4.2 grams.
It doesn’t have silicone ear-tips but rather WIKO opted for the universal fit, meaning the in-ear fit may vary for customers and may not be as secure as one would expect it once they put it on. But in the case of the WIKO Buds 10 the fit on my ears is slightly a bit loose but still intact and it never fell off. I even worn it while walking up and down the stairs.
The in-ear fit is comfortable and does not cause any soreness or pain during our long hours of use. However, the in-ear design never had enough surface area to prevent ambient noise from listening to your audio. You can still hear a slight faint of noise coming in either inside or outside like the honk of the car, dog barks, etc.
It also has two microphones each located at the charging contact and near the touch control area. Using them for your calls allows it to be clearer and isolates the ambient noise or non-voice sound thanks to the dual-mic noise cancellation feature. It lets the person on the other end of the call hear your voice more pleasant. Moreover, the Buds 10 is perfect for video conference calls like Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or Zoom.
Pairing and Connectivity
To pair the WIKO Buds 10 to your device simply open the cover lid to start the pairing process or you may opt to long-press the function key for 3 seconds.
The earbuds don’t support seamless switching between multiple devices. So, when using your Buds 10 to another paired device it first needs to be disconnected and then simply select on that other device under its Bluetooth settings to connect again.
Once you’ve successfully hooked your earbuds to the device it ensures a steady and seamless connectivity thanks to the built-in Bluetooth 5.2 feature. With the Bluetooth 5.2 on the Buds 10 it provides a good transfer rate, maintains high audio quality and longer battery life.
In case you have problems and you need to restart the earbuds you may do a factory reset. Just open the cover lid and long press the function key for more than 10 seconds. A red light will indicate that the earbuds have been restored to its default factory settings.
Controls
The WIKO Buds 10 offers touch control features that are intuitive with its very sensitive smart sensor located on the upper part of the stem near the microphone.
Double tapping on either left or right earbud will let you play/pause your music or video. The same action can also be done when answering or ending your calls. If you need to reject a call just do a long-press for 2 seconds.
To switch songs or watch the next episode you need to long press the right earbud to play the next one or the left earbud for the previous track.
To activate your AI voice command triple tap on either left or right earbuds.
With a long-press on both earbuds simultaneously this will trigger the game mode feature to deliver lag free and smooth gameplay experience.
Software
The WIKO Connect is a proprietary app by the company dedicated for its AIoT devices to easily modify or configure its settings.
Connecting the WIKO Buds 10 to the app was very easy and its interface design is pretty simple.
With the app you can view the battery levels on both the earbuds and the charging case which is very useful. You can also enhance your sound thru the available equalizer settings and choose your preferred audio mode between standard, jazz, vocal, dance, country, natural, classic and pop.

Sound Quality
Although the Buds 10 gets an in-ear design, it sports a 12mm bio-diaphragm dynamic drivers with copper-coated aluminum armature which provides good sound quality with plenty of punch in the lower frequencies, mid-tones are visible and offers a depth in the bass.
Listening to the Aurora by the Foo Fighters, a gentle yet powerful song that is upbeat, you can clearly hear the melodic guitar riffs, the polished drum riffs and powerful bass drums. The horns and the deep loud energetic voice of Lil Nas on his song Industry Baby is so great to listen especially with the steady mid-bass thump makes you move to the beat.
The Buds 10 can go plenty out loud, it’s around 75% of the playing volume that the higher frequencies and details increases which still gets you a decent amount of details in the instruments and the vocals.
Overall, we loved the audio experience we had on the WIKO Buds 10.
Battery Life
As for the battery, WIKO claims that the earbuds can give you up to 6 hours on single charge but with the charging case you get more usage up to 30 hours of playtime.
In our test, we tried the Buds 10 for 3 hours straight listening to music and watching videos on YouTube that was paired to our laptop. The battery dropped around 10% an hour therefore leaving us with around 70% on the earbuds. This is quite remarkable as you are left with enough battery to do more.
Charging the case, you’ll have a red light indicating an ongoing charge while a white light means you already have full charge on the case.

Conclusion
The WIKO Buds 10 are decently well-made even if it is made of durable plastic material found on the case and the earbuds as well. It delivers excellent sound quality that can be used effectively for listening to music, watching videos, video conferencing and gaming. You also get IPX4 rating that offers extra heap of protection against water splashes, raindrops or sweat. Seamless and stable connection thanks to the built-in Bluetooth 5.2. It’s long battery life can extend more of its usage and lastly its proprietary app is simple to use.
So, if you’re looking for a nice pair of earbuds the WIKO Buds 10 might be the one you’re looking for.
