Unboxing
Checking out the contents of the box we have the Pouvor 4 unit, Documentations, Micro USB to USB Cable, Power Adaptor, Screen Protector, Earphones, Clear Protective Jelly Case, and SIM Toolkit.
Build, Controls and Ports
For this review we got Ice Jadeite color. The back material used is made of plastic and glass while the frame is built of polycarbonate material which makes this unit looks premium and durable.
At the back you can see the AI Quad Camera and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for added security plus the TECNO Mobile logo and model name.
Controls located on the right are for the volume keys and power button while on the other side you have a red button dedicated for the Google Assistant feature and near it holds the SIM tray (Dual SIM with expandable MicroSD). On the bottom you have the MicroUSB charging port, dual speakers, mic and a 3.5mm jack.
Display
The Pouvoir 4 offers a large 7-inch HD+ Dot Notch IPS display that is good for watching your favourite movies or playing your favorite games. The display has a 255 pixels per inch with a resolution of 1640 x 720 pixels providing you the best entertainment experience and amazing video display.
The display has a 2.5 D curved glass which has that slight curvature at the edge of the glass display making it a little more stylish.
Camera and Video
The rear camera is equipped with a 13MP AI Quad Camera with f/1.8 aperture, two 2MP cameras and an AI lens at the rear with Quad Flash. It also supports an 8X digital zoom function and 77-degrees shooting angle. Shooting modes available are Video, AI Cam, Beauty, Bokeh, AR Shot, and Panorama. There’s no Night Mode available but on future updates TECNO Mobile might add it on.
If you’re going to shoot video, it has the ability to capture either 1080p, 720p or 480p both available at the rear and front cameras. If you need extra light or to fill-in especially selfie videos, just select the LED flash option there’s a ready Quad LED flash light at the rear and two LED flash light located on the top of the front display.
On the top center of the dot notch display sports an 8MP AI Selfie camera with Dual Flash. All of the shooting modes are also present but with an additional Wide Selfie mode.

Performance
Equipped with TECNO Mobile’s HiOS 6.0 which is built on Android 10 for a smooth and stable operating system. The Pouvoir 4 is powered with a 2.0GHz MediaTek Helio A22 MT6761 Quad Core processor, PowerVR Rogue GE8300 GPU, 3GB memory and a 32GB storage expandable via MicroSD card.
For added security you can choose to use the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, Face Unlock, Screen Lock and an additional Smart Lock that keeps you phone unlocked in some situation such as when its in your pocket or near at your home.

Sound Quality
The Pouvoir 4 comes with dual stereo speakers offering a superb sound quality, whether you are listening on earphones or playing audio out loud. It has a built-in Dirac HD Sound, an audio performance enhancement technology, by turning on this feature it will drastically improves musical staging, voice clarity, and bass fidelity. Listening to music as well as watching movies was much better, clearer and better. It’s a good thing TECNO Mobile offered this state-of-the-art digital technology.
Battery
The Tecno Mobile Pouvoir 4 is equipped with a powerful and long-lasting 6,000 mAh battery that keeps this smartphone always power on. With that massive battery it’s capable of powering the Pouvoir 4 up to four days straight. With at full charge it can give you 792 minutes of movie time, 516 minutes of video recording and 638 minutes of action-packed gaming.
After we consumed the battery, we wanted to test the device how long will it take the 6,000mAh battery to have a 100% full charge. In just 10 minutes we already got a 6% charge on the battery. Then after 20 minutes an 18% increase, a 41% increase at 40 minutes and after 1 hour we have a 76% charge. It took us almost 3 hours to have the Pouvoir 4 6,000mAh battery a complete charge.
