The packaging of the realme TechLife Handheld Vacuum Cleaner is made of a thick corrugated box material which you can see once you open the box. The design of the packaging is just simple clad in a simple white color with a glimpse of how the look of the handheld vacuum cleaner, a round down of its features, and usages of the device.

Inside you have two trays that safely secures all the accessories and the main handheld vacuum cleaner as well. We have the following contents: Manual, Small Cleaning Tool, Wall Mount and Screws, 2-in-1 Brush, Crevice Tool, Long Tube Extension, Power Adapter, Motorized Floor Brush, and the Main Body.

Design and Build Quality

The design of the main body is similar to any cordless vacuum cleaners having a futuristic gun-shaped device together with the dust container unit just right under the handle. Found on the top are the power button and five blue LED indicator that lights up when you use the vacumm cleaner, so you can distantly know how much longer you can use it.

While on the right side you have the charging port and a push-button that lets you detach the dust container if ever you need to clean it as well as the HEPA filter.

Lastly, the Motorised Floor Brush is one of my favorite and quite has a few interesting features on it. There is a light at the front allowing you to see the dark areas such as under the bed or sofa easily. It has a set of small wheels present making it easier to move it around while cleaning. While the rotating soft bristle brush provides 2,200 RPM making it efficient and easier to collect the dust.

All three attachments can be connected with an extension tube to further aid you in cleaning far and high places. It has a cavity mechanism and supported by pins gives the attachment a secure fit.

Another useful accessory provided by realme in the package is a wall mount which you can install either in your room or below the staircase to easily place or store the device for easy access.

The small cleaning tool can assist you in cleaning the attachments or dust container without any hassle.

Battery Life

The realme TechLife Handheld Vacuum Cleaner is equipped with a powerful 2200mAh battery with extended runtime for cleaning area up to a 120-meter square at one go. You have the five blue LED indicator lights showing the battery level in real-time.

Using the device it can consume of around 40 minutes’ runtime continuously in soft mode while 20 minutes’ runtime continuously in strong mode.

During charging when you plug the power adaptor, the five LED indicator lights stack on the top of the main unit blinks, then it will turn off automatically for about 5 minutes and enter the sleep state.

In our charging test we experienced that it took us around 4 hours to get the handheld vacuum cleaner fully charged up.

Impressions and Performance

At 1.3kg only, I enjoyed using the realme TechLife Handheld Vacuum Cleaner as its easy to use and effortless in cleaning those dust inside our house.

The overall design of the main body is very ergonomic, its lightweight with the handle just about the right height and offers a natural feel in my hands. Even without the packaging box the handheld vacuum cleaner is very compact in size just right to place it anywhere if you need to keep it under your bed or closet.

The attachments are easy-to-use and attaching them from the main unit is easy at the base of the nozzle even with the extension tube. The dust container can be completely separated easily from the main unit by the push-button located on the side. Both the dust container including the HEPA filter are washable.

Once you press on the power to start the device, the sound though can get irritating over extended usage much louder if you use the strong mode. We also advice you not to use the device especially during the night.

All the dirt you wipe goes into the dust container as we can immediately see the dirt inside as it slowly piles up inside. In case the dust container is full you can open the lid just by sliding the toggle mechanism upwards. Be careful when you open the lid as the tiny dust particles will fly in the air as soon as they are let out.

Once we are done we simply detach the dust container, remove the HEPA filter and clean it with running water. You can also wash the canister in the sink with warm soapy water.

You just really need to plan and be patient when you need to charge the device as it took almost 4 hours to get it fully charged. Some minor inconvenience or bothersome for us is the loud noise it makes while we are using the device which we all know are mostly common in all vacuum cleaners. One thing we tried to give us a less annoyance of the noise from the vacuum cleaner is wearing an earbud while playing some music on. It did a pretty job so maybe it can work for you and music can help you make your cleaning task with the device more enjoyable.
