realme Philippines is set to launch its new mid-range smartphone under the Number series lineup with the all-new realme 14 Series 5G. The brand was generous enough to provide us with a unit for a hands-on experience with one of its model variants, the realme 14 Pro 5G, for a full review.
The realme 14 Pro 5G has some very interesting new features. While we are still under embargo, realme Philippines has allowed us to unbox and share some of its key features, giving you, our dear readers, an exclusive first look at the phone.
Unboxing
The packaging design of the new realme 14 Pro 5G retains the brand’s signature vibrant golden yellow color with a minimalist design.
Made from thick cardboard material, the box features an attractive striped line patterns with a UV coating for an added premium touch. Unlike other packaging, it does not include a printed image of the phone however the front and sides will show key elements such as the model name, realme logo, and an AI logo.
The bottom portion of the box shows the key features of the phone, company information, IMEI, and certification marks.
Removing the top cover box reveals an inner yellow compartment box that contains some of the included accessories. Underneath the compartment box, you’ll find the realme 14 Pro 5G unit and below that is a plastic tray holding the other remaining accessories.

You can use the phone immediately without worries, as it comes with a pre-applied screen protector that offers instant protection from scratches. This saves you the extra cost and hassle of buying a separate screen protector and a perfect fit for your phone’s display.
New Suede Grey Design
Inspired by luxury handbags, the new realme 14 Pro 5G offers a new Suede Grey design. It is made with eco-friendly and skin-safe materials that feel soft and velvety to the touch. It’s also durable, stain-resistant, and slip-resistant, combining style with long-lasting quality.
The realme 14 Pro 5G is also more durable having an all-around waterproof design certified with a triple IP Ratings including an IP69, IP68 and IP66.
The phone can be submerged in water up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes and offers top protection against dust, high-pressure water jets, and even extreme conditions.

50MP OIS Camera with Magic Glow Triple Flash Feature
The realme 14 Pro 5G’s main camera is equipped with a 50MP lens using a Sony IMX882 sensor that can produce high quality images with vibrant colors and sharpness.
To prevent blurry photos when capturing photos or reduce handshakes during video recording, the phone features a built-in Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
With its all-around waterproof feature, you can use the new Underwater Mode in the camera app to capture creative shots deep within clear pool water.
Another standout feature debuting on the new realme 14 Pro 5G is the Magic Glow Triple Flash, which assists the cameras in capturing photos in low-light scenarios. What’s so unique with the three-LED flash is the ability to control the brightness and color temperature. The photos you take will likely have better lighting balance, reduced shadows, or do more artistic photographs as you experiment with the LED flash settings.
Initial Thoughts
The realme 14 Pro 5G sports a sleek and elegant design with a premium suede finish, offering a fresh alternative to common back panel materials like faux leather, textured finishes, and glossy surfaces. We are liking the new design and colorway.
The refined aesthetic of the phone also enhances both style and grip which makes a lot more comfortable in our hands.
On the camera, it boasts a powerful 50MP lens using a sensor from Sony which we experienced a crisp and detailed shots. It also features Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for smoother captures and the innovative Magic Glow Triple Flash, which enhances low-light photography.
As we are still under embargo regarding the full specifications, there are still plenty of other exciting features found on the new realme 14 Pro 5G that we’ll be sharing this coming week.
