Retail personnel of select partner groceries, convenience stores, and pawnshops received assistance from Smart Communications, Inc. to help them cope with the COVID-19 health crisis. Smart provided load, rice subsidy, relief goods, and other assistance to cashiers and staff in partner outlets of Ultra Mega, 7-Eleven, Metro Retail, USSC, Palawan Pawnshop, San Roque Supermarket, Ministop, and others.
