MSI-ECS appointed as country distributor of Nimble Storage to the Philippines

Today marks another achievement for MSI-ECS as it continues to redefined and broadened its portfolio of IT products. California-based company Nimble Storage, the leader in predictive flash storage, appointed MSI-ECS as country distributor. Present during the event are Mr. Jimmy D. Go, President and CEO of MSI-ECS; from Nimble Storage Mr. Theo Hourmouzis, Director of Channel Sales, Asia Pacific & Japan and Ms. Rachel Ler, Managing Director, ASEAN plus different print and online media.

In 2014, Nimble has redefined the storage market when it introduced an array of storage solutions featuring its Adaptive Flash technology.

What is Adaptive Flash Storage?

The adaptive flash storage architecture is engineered to provide organizations with the highest levels of performance and efficiency. In contrast to legacy and flash-only storage architectures and systems that are deployed and managed in disparate silos to support applications based on their unique characteristics and requirements, the Nimble Adaptive Flash platform offers a single storage architecture that dynamically caters to the needs of enterprise-wide workloads across performance, capacity, and data protection — delivering on the full potential and benefits of storage consolidation.

Nimble offers a Predictive Flash platform that combines flash performance with predictive analytics to predict and prevent barriers to data velocity caused by complex IT infrastructure. Nimble customers can experience absolute performance, non-stop availability and cloud-like agility that accelerate critical business processes.

PH is 2nd Largets Market of Nimble Storage

More than 7,500 enterprises, governments, and service providers have deployed the Nimble Predictive Flash Platform across more than 50 countries. In the Philippines, Nimble Storage already has an existing customer base in the country across a diversified range of market sectors. Among these are Telco giants such as Globe Telecom and PLDT, Rustan’s, 2Go Group Inc., Ortigas and Company, SPi Global, Fujitsu just to name a few.

Rachel Ler, said that Philippines is the second largest market of Nimble in the Southeast Asian region and Singapore would take the top position in using the Adaptive Flash Storage technology. Plans to setup a Nimble office in the country will be possible due to the growing clients and needed support.

“The addition of Nimble Storage is a perfect fit to our growing converged infrastructure and storage portfolio”, says Jimmy D. Go, president and CEO, MSI-ECS. “The availability of these architectures minimizes the challenges associated with deploying application, server, hypervisor, networking, and storage components as an integrated solution. Also, our extensive partnership with other technology leaders reduces converged infrastructure architectural complexity, making it more accessible to our partners to offer end-to-end solutions to their customers and meet changing requirements”, he added.

“We are really looking forward to the relationship, its a new relationship with MSI-ECS as recently appointed. What we like about MSI-ECS is the reputation they have in the local market, the reputation with resellers and customers. What’s really important for us is partnering with organizations that can take not just storage to the market but a full solutions, so being able to put Nimble Storage along side Cisco or VMware environment. We want to make it easy for our customers and partners to buy from one place delivering full services” , says Theo Hourmouzis on partnering with MSI-ECS.
