MPL Philippines bares new rules for Regular Season MVP selection

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League – Philippines has unveiled new rules in selecting the MPL-PH Regular Season 9’s most valuable player (MVP).

This season, every caster will now be involved in nominating three (3) candidates based on the following criteria:

  1. The nominated player’s team is amongst the top two in the regular season;
  2. The nominated player should have won weekly MVP honors or had excellent player data during the regular season;
  3. The nominated player should have committed no serious violations.

The three (3) nominees will be ranked from 1-to 3, with 1 being the highest. The top rank will receive 5 points, and rank 2 and 3 players will be allocated 3 and 1 points, respectively.

The player with the highest cumulative points will be declared the Regular Season MVP, announced through MPL Philippines’s official Facebook page on April 12th.

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League – Philippines is sponsored by Smart as the official telco partner, with Samsung also joining this year as the official mobile device partner.
