M Lhuillier joins DepEd’s Oplan Balik Eskwela
With distance learning still in place, the Department of Education (DepEd) reconfigured their annual back-to-school campaign, Oplan Balik Eskwela, to fully assist in the preparations of education in the new normal. Various partner organizations including M Lhuillier have offered support through various initiatives that ensure quality education will continue despite the challenges presented by the pandemic.
Last February 28, 2021, in support of the Department of Education’s annual campaign, Oplan Balik Eskwela, M Lhuillier gifted Cagayan National High School, with a printer and other supplies which were received by the school teachers headed by the school Principal, Mrs. Grace T. Macababad.
M Lhuillier donates to Out-of-School Youth and Adults in Roxas City
Through the implementation of the Alternative Learning System (ALS) by the Department of Education (DepEd), out-of-school youth and adults are given an opportunity to continue their education and eventually complete it.
As the Alternative Learning System (ALS) learners in the District of President Roxas prepare to take their Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) Test, school supplies are needed now more than ever. So last March 5, 2021, M Lhuillier donated much-needed supplies such as bond papers, printer ink refills, and other materials to the Alternative Learning System (ALS) learners of Pres. Roxas East Elementary School.
Bond Paper Mo Para Sa Modyul Ko
When distance learning began, schools started printing out learning modules and give them to the students as most low-income households don’t have access to a home computer. As a result, many students are struggling to complete homework and participate in virtual classrooms. This means that more bond papers are needed to distribute the learning modules to each student.
On March 19, 2021, M Lhuillier conducted a donation drive, Bond Paper Mo Para Sa Modyul Ko, with the aim of providing bond papers and other school supplies to Pulang Bato Elementary School in Cebu. Aside from the school supplies, hygiene supplies such as 2 gallons of alcohol and 6 carton boxes of face masks were donated.
M Lhuillier Turns Over an Outdoor Stage for School Activities
On March 31, 2021, M Lhuillier officially turned over an outdoor stage to Guinabot Elementary School in Zamboanga Del Sur. School heads, teachers and barangay officials organized a ceremonial turnover to express their gratitude for the donation. Apart from the outdoor stage, other supplies such as shirts and face towels were given.
