The Philippines continues to experience disastrous fires, often marking some of the worst fire incidents in history. On August 19, 2021 a blazing fire broke out at Purok 1, Buru-un, Iligan City leaving 88 families homeless and in despair. Upon hearing the newsflash, M Lhuillier in the Lanao Region headed by Marites Melitante, together with its officers wasted no time in helping the Buru-un fire victims. The affected families received basic goods such as rice, noodles, canned goods and hygiene commodities to initially relieve them. The local government, spearheaded by Barangay Councilor Robert Trazo, managed the distribution.
Meanwhile, on August 5, 2021 another fire incident happened at Purok Tisa Sangi, Toledo City. There were five families whose houses were left to ashes – a total of 21 individuals were affected by the incident. M Lhuillier took the initiative to visit the victims and provided them with grocery packages that suffice their needs for the evacuation.

On a separate occasion last August 18, around one hundred sixteen families and beyond two hundred individuals became oppressed with a fire incident in Upper Calarian Zamboanga City. Five days thereafter, ML Cares foundation visited the posted temporary shelter situated at Southcom Village Elementary School Zamboanga City to deliver primary needs such as rice, face mask, and towels for the fire victims.
