After the release of the Korean TV series the Kingdom, LG Philippines team up again with Netflix in bringing an immersive experience at the Seven Super Rooms last February 16 at the Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati City.
This time the two companies is launching a brand new original series from Netflix, The Umbrella Academy. The story revolves around estranged siblings reunited by their father’s death. With extraordinary superpowers, they are on a mission to unlock shocking family secrets and save humanity from an apocalyptic threat. The series stars Ellen Page, Mary J. Blige and a stellar ensemble cast.
Guests during the event launch were able to test their wits and be a superhero for a day with a series of mind-boggling challenges at the Seven Super Rooms. Present are LG OLED TV ambassadors – model and actress Sanya Lopez, actor Benjamin Alves, Binibining Pilipinas International 2016 Nicole Cordoves, singer and director Khalil Ramos, actor Gil Cuerva and vlogger Dani Barretto – replicated the hero’s superpowers amplified by the super-tech provided by LG Philippines. By using the LG OLED TV’s AI capability to give out commands and turn it to reality, igniting a karaoke song as well as LG’s Crystal Clear sound to concoct the perfect cocktail while listening to a hero’s instructions.
