Infinix NOTE 10 Pro (256GB+8GB) Unboxing & First Impressions

The Infinix NOTE 10 Pro is finally here with some surprising new upgrades on their new mid-range flagship smartphone. Equipped with the latest MediaTek processor and a bigger storage capacity making it an ideal gaming smartphone today.

Before we give our full review of the device we will be sharing with you our unboxing and initial impressions of the NOTE 10 Pro plus a few test on the camera.

The Infinix NOTE 10 Pro will be on sale exclusively on Shopee starting on February 22, 2022 at a special launch price of Php 10,990 for one day only. After that it will retail for a suggested retail price at Php 11,990.

Unboxing

The packaging box of the NOTE 10 Pro comes in a bright neon green color seen from the top and sides with an Infinix logo, model’s name, certifications and IMEI sticker. While the inner box that holds all the accessories gets a dark grey color packaging while the bottom shows the specifications of the phone and compliance or regulatory info’s.

Inside the box you have the following items:

Infinix NOTE 10 Pro Unit

SIM Ejector Tool, Warranty Card and XCLUB XGOLD Voucher

USB Type-C Cable and USB-C Charger

Clear Protective Jelly Case and Tempered Glass

Design and Display

The back panel gets a nice two-tone design effect for our 7°Purple color review unit. The top portion has a plain purple color while the half bottom features a pin-stripe design together with an Infinix logo.

It has a rectangular camera module design on the top left that holds its quad cameras and the LED flash.

Located on the right side are the volume rocker and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor together with the power/sleep button while the SIM card tray on the left. At the bottom you have the USB Type-C port, speaker grille, microphone, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The first thing that you’ll notice on the NOTE 10 Pro is probably the display. The Infinix NOTE 10 Pro packs a large 6.95-inch FHD+ Super Fluid IPS display supported by a 90Hz refresh rate. It also has 180Hz touch sampling rate for improving the recognition and movement of your fingers on the display especially when playing games.

Hardware and Battery

One of the main highlights of the NOTE 10 Pro is the built-in processor which uses the latest MediaTek Helio G95. MediaTek claims that the Helio G95 is optimized for a good performance in video games and the utilization of high-definition content on all platforms.

For storage, the NOTE 10 Pro last year had a 128GB storage, Infinix upgraded it with a hefty 256GB storage enough to store more games, photos, videos, music or other files plus you get 8GB RAM to smoothly run more apps in the background without slowing your phone down. If the 256GB is not enough, you can magnify your storage further up to 512GB via a MicroSD card.

A massive 5,000 mAh battery is equipped to power the NOTE 10 Pro with 33W X-charge technology that enables for a faster-charging.

Camera

As we’ve mentioned the Infinix NOTE 10 Pro sports a quad camera with a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP depth sensor for portraits and 2MP B&W lens with a built-in LED flash. The front facing camera has a 16MP AI advanced selfie camera.

First Impressions

Overall, the Infinix NOTE 10 Pro has features we are already fond of it. The large 6.95-inch display is impressive has nice colors, text are sharp and the 90Hz refresh rate helps also. It has rounded corners with the bezels on the front display are thin mostly from the top and sides but a little bit thicker at the bottom. It’s lightweight just comfortable enough to hold in just one hand but you may need to use your other hand in case you need to reach the top.

The rear panel’s two-tone design is amazing as I like the pin-stripe effect at the bottom. The glossy finish adds a little more accent to the effect however it’s prone for fingerprint smudges. Good thing Infinix included a clear jelly case protector to solve the fingerprint marks on the back.

We’re glad Infinix did a remarkable upgrade on its hardware as it is now equipped with a MediaTek Helio G95 processor and added more with a 256GB storage capacity. This means better gaming performance and more apps for download.

As for the camera, we still need to shoot more photos with the NOTE 10 Pro to see the quality however we can see some good decent shots.

We can’t wait to play games and watch movies on this device. So, stay tuned for the full review and more on the Infinix NOTE 10 Pro.
