Herbalife Nutrition Foundation (HNF), a global nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and communities around the world, was bestowed the Childcare Champ Award by SOS Children’s Villages in the Philippines.
This marks the 3rd time in a row that HNF has been awarded this title. The Child Care Champ Award is given to long-term partners that uphold the best interest of each SOS child.
Herbalife Nutrition Foundation started partnering with SOS Children’s Villages in 2010 and has since been supporting the children and families by strengthening them with nutritious food.
Maria Angeles Guanzon-Lapena, President of the board of trustees of SOS Children’s Villages presented the award at the SOS Children’s Villages awards night. This was held on March 23, 2023, at their program location in Manila.
“Because of our beloved partners, we could sustain quality care and provide loving homes to Filipino children without and at risk of losing parental care,” said Mrs. Guanzon-Lapena in her presentation speech thanking Herbalife and other corporate partners for their continued support.
Alan Domingo, General Manager of Herbalife Nutrition Philippines, thanked the organization by saying “It is our honor to have partnered with SOS Children’s Villages in the Philippines for the past 13 years, as we continue to provide the children in need with good nutrition through healthy food and nutrition education.”
