As Christmas season nears, it’s the right time of the year to give thanks and share all of the wonderful blessings we received. Goldilocks the country’s number one bakeshop together with megabites.com.ph held its first ever outreach program for the Social & Human Development under Bahay Kalinga at the St. Paul of the Cross Parish, Marikina City last November 23.
Goldilocks delighted kids and adults for a free packed lunch of their signature dishes the Golden Chicken with Rice and Sago Gulaman. This special event wouldn’t be complete without a taste of Goldilocks Chocolate Unicorn Greeting Cake that was enjoyed and shared by everyone who attended.
Fr. Ben Guevara, Parish Priest of St. Paul of the Cross Parish, came by to see the children, shared some catechesis and blessed everyone before the start of the event. Present during the activities and preparation are Kuya Nonoy and Ate Lea Catura, Ministry Heads of the Social & Human Development with special assistance from Ate Ching Reyes of Bahay Kalinga.
Meanwhile, Megabites.com.ph gave out some raffle prizes, candies, games for the children and some old toys’ courtesy of Ryan Ravanera that made them very happy.
At the end of the day, everyone didn’t get home empty-handed as Goldilocks gave out special lootbags consisting of their classic bakeshop goodies of assorted polvoron and caramel popcorn.
It was indeed a #HappyCelebration and #HappyGoldilocks day this holiday season for our brothers, sisters and kids of Bahay Kalinga.
