With the pandemic occurrence of Coronavirus affecting our country as well as nations around the world, one industry that has been greatly affected is the trade show community. Vendors and trade show organizers have been already cancelling or postponing tradeshow or conference events for the safety of its clients and customers. The official announcement was made through an interactive virtual press conference last July 7 together with notable personalities from the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Present during the digital press conference are: Patrick Lawrence Tan, CEO, Global-Link MP; Jing Lagandaon, COO, Global and Sum Wong, Co-founder of EventXtra who took its guest for an impressive walkthrough of what to expect on the upcoming virtual events.
The walkthrough gave as a sample of how the virtual platform will look like as well as the design of its vendors exhibit booth. It also has an area that holds press conferences and inquiries of each customer can be done via video call, chat, leave a message option and a schedule meet up. Vendors may also opt to choose between five ready made booth designs which can easily customize to put in their company logo or product and even a 3D booth design can be made.
