First Impression: HONOR X6a (4GB+128GB)

With the success of the HONOR 90 5G, HONOR Philippines is set to continue disrupting and dominating the smartphone industry by launching not one but three new models this coming September 26.

Confirm to arrive on September 26 is the new HONOR 90 Lite, HONOR X5 Plus, and HONOR X6a. You can watch the livestream event on HONOR’s official Facebook page.

In the meantime, we’re giving you a first look at the latest HONOR X6a. The HONOR X6a is the latest addition to the brand’s iconic X series models. The phone offers a competitive specs at a very good price point.

Unboxing

The HONOR X6a’s packaging box is very simple clad in an all-white color constructed from a thick cardboard-type material.

There’s an image of the X6a printed on the top cover and a HONOR logo that you can easily spot on the box. A sticker is also placed on one side of the box with the IMEI, company info, certification marks, and a few specs about the unit printed on it.

The phone is the first thing you’ll see when you open the top cover of the box, underneath it is a compartment box that holds some of the included accessories.

For now, here’s what you should know

We’re going to have a full review of the HONOR X6a after the launch event, but for now, we will share with you its key features.

The HONOR X6a boasts of a 6.56-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate to make your scrolling through menus, web pages, and apps on the phone feel smoother and more fluid.

It is powered by a MediaTek G36 octa-core processor a fast set of chipsets good for gaming, entertainment, and school work. It’s paired with 4GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and a 5200mAh battery.

The X6a is equipped with a 50MP triple-camera setup that can capture high-quality photos across a range of scenarios. For your selfies, you get a 5MP front-facing camera.

The HONOR X6a comes pre-installed with Google services and applications. This ensures that users can access and use the wide range of Google apps and services on the device without any additional setup or restrictions. This makes the HONOR X6a provide a familiar and feature-rich Android experience.
