Be In the Know: Top 3 things that QC & Pasig have in common

Quezon City and Pasig have never been more connected than ever, but the two megacities are bound to be even closer in the future.

Recent developments have been made that further linked Quezon City and Pasig. In 2019, a 200-meter bridge over the Marikina River was opened to the public. In December 2022, the main boulevard of the Bridgetowne Destination Estate, with entrances from both C5 and Amang Rodriguez roads, became accessible to the public. Moreover, in June 2023, Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) is set to launch a state-of-the-art infrastructure called ‘The Bridge,’ designed by the late National Artist for Architecture Francisco Mañosa.

But beyond the structural links that tie them together, Quezon City and Pasig have more in common that strengthens their harmonious connection.

#1. QC & Pasig house the Bridgetowne Destination Estate

Quezon City and Pasig houses RLC’s 31-hectare mixed-used development Bridgetowne Destination Estate. The Quezon City portion is envisioned to be the business center side of the estate as it already consists of multiple BPOs and will soon welcome a world-class shopping center and a five-star hotel. Meanwhile, the Pasig side of Bridgetowne is seen to host a wide range of residential condominium towers including the recently launched Le Pont Residences.

Le Pont Residences is RLC Residences’ first premium high-rise property consisting of elegant bi-level penthouse units and a selection of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units equipped with smart home features and loggias. The property will also feature multi-level, first class amenities such as a hyper-sized infinity pool, private theater, and an indoor cycling room and fitness gym, making the property a great addition to the estate and the well-distinguished city it belongs to.

#2. QC & Pasig are both recognized as ‘highly urbanized cities’

Quezon City and Pasig are both recognized at the 2022 Rankings of Highly Urbanized Cities by the Regional Competitiveness Committee. The assessment is based on the following indicators: economic dynamism, government efficiency, infrastructure, innovation, and resiliency.

The outstanding credentials of these two cities make for an ideal real estate investment. Accessible to both Quezon City and Pasig, the pre-selling units of Le Pont Residences can be the opportunity that Filipino investors are looking for. The property is strategically located near commercial areas, hospitals, and prominent schools like the University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University, and La Salle Greenhills.

#3. QC & Pasig are en-route to becoming sustainable cities

Although known as highly urbanized cities, QC and Pasig are also conscious of their impact on the environment. Quezon City prides itself on its diligent Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability Department that leads the #QCTrashToCashback project, one of the city’s many initiatives to achieve a zero waste lifestyle.

On the other hand, Pasig City is also proud to be known as ‘the green city’ because of its various environment-friendly initiatives to protect its waterways and greeneries. Just late last year, the local government unit of Pasig implemented a new policy direction to preserve the 6.2-hectare Maybunga Rainforest Park. Complementing the beauty of Pasig’s sustainability efforts, Le Pont Residences also boasts of its lush landscaped areas along the jogging trail where residents can conveniently bask in nature anytime of the day.

“Quezon City and Pasig are already distinguished cities in the metro. But we at RLC Residences are confident that more exciting opportunities await these cities especially as more developments come in Bridgetowne,’  said RLC Residences Marketing Head Karen Cesario. “This is also the reason why we’re excited for the future homeowners of Le Pont Residences. They get to experience the elevated lifestyle within and outside the property.”
