Are you looking for a different place to try around the Metro?
Located in the heart of Valenzuela City, Farm House is a restaurant with a unique earthy ambiance because of its planted veggies, herbs and spices in the backyard, while you relax and experience good food and unwinding music.
Mrs. Mary Ann Alejandrino, owner of the ‘Farm House’ said that it started because it was her husband’s dream to have a farm. With that, they conceptualized a restaurant that gives a vibes of having a farm even they are living in the city. She said that it started 3 years ago by having a small area only which they serve food, shorts orders and student meals. Then, later on, they widen the space, venue and made it like a bar with a sitting capacity of 150 to 200 persons. They put up a small stage for acoustic bands that plays every night.
Since they aim to be one of the best restaurants in the area, they are more concern of the welfare of their patrons, especially students. To ensure that they will give the customers a total lay back experience at food at affordable price, Farm House offers burgers with pure beef patty and fries served with fresh fruit shakes. Being able to complement today’s trend of having a wide range of food in a restaurant, they also offer a variety and fusion of collaboration of American, Thai Food, Vietnamese as well as exotic food. Price of food is reasonable because, you can taste Baked Bangus and Sisig which is their specialty or most ordered meal only for P150.
Achieving these yummy foods, credits are due to the master chef of the restaurant, Chef Ruben. He said that his experience of being “All-boys” in the family trained him to cook for himself. Even though he is a nursing graduate, his family was his inspiration for cooking making him to be interested in learning more and study to the Most Institute of Culinary Arts. He had his On-the-Job Training at Mandarin Oriental Hotel and went to Dubai for 1 year. He worked at People’s Palace Hotel which serves Thai Food. He said that his secret technique in cooking is experience and for him, passion is important.
