Tag Heuer unveiled its “First Swiss-made Connected Watch” the Tag Heuer Connected Modular 45, developed together by top partners Google and Intel. This collaboration brings the best of both worlds for the new Tag Heuer smartwatch, quality Swiss luxury watchmaking and the technology from Silicon Valley. Present during the unveiling is Mr. Romain Cans the After Sales Director of Tag Heuer who showcased the new smartwatch to the media and guests.
The wonderful thing with the new Tag Heuer 45mm smartwatch module, it can be switched out with a purely Swiss-made mechanical option. Even if the module gets outdated you just need to swap it out and use a new one. Every part of the watch is also interchangeable such as the straps, the buckles and the lugs. For example, you can choose the straps either in rubber, leather, titanium or ceramic, in a range of different colors. Tag Heuer also included some options from premium materials such as diamonds.
The Tag Heuer Connected Modular 45 features a 1.39-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, Scratch-resistant sapphire cover glass of 2.5 mm thickness, Android wear 2.0, 1.6Ghz Intel Cloverdale Peak – Dual Core processor, 4GB storage memory, 512MB memory, weghing 64 gms, 410 mAh battery (more than 25 hours of usage), WiFi, GPS, and water resistant of up to 50 meters. It also has NFC capabilities for you to use Android Pay. With the new OS version it also improved on the compatibility with iOS phones.
