Gear Up for Active Hang Out
It’s officially summer and everybody is prepping up to have those hot and sizzling beach body. Surely, those people are looking for the perfect gear for a convenient, fun and entertaining work-out which includes a pair of comfy shoes, stylish yet cozy work-out clothes and, of course, a gadget complete of handy accessories. With that, I think the most important thing that a fitness enthusiast or an athlete must never forget, except for a bottle of water and towel, is the headphone like Hellas Bluetooth Headphone of Urbanears™! Yes, for me, it is the perfect gym buddy that plays your favorite work-out playlist as you pump up to get that hot summer body.
Upon opening the box, it includes the Hellas Active Headphone, charger connector, user manual and a white protective case. The Touch Interface of the headphone is located on the right ear cup where all commands are situated. Starting it is easy and trouble-free. As I pressed and held the touch interface for 4 seconds, I heard an audio signal that indicates that it is activated; I also tried to press and hold it for another 4 seconds to try switching it off.
I had no problem connect it in my smartphone via Bluetooth. As I saw Hellas registered in visible devices, I selected and it connected fast and stress-free. I noticed that the LED indicator turned white from blue which means it was linked and ready to play my desired music. I want to know if connecting it with other devices is as stress-free as I have experienced using my Samsung Smartphone so I tried connecting it to my friend’s MacBook Pro, it was easy for me to link it via Bluetooth and play the stored music. I tried linking it to a LG Smartphone, as well, and same as my experience with previous devices, it was swift and easy.
Since I have already connected it to my device, I want to try its sound, functionality and efficiency, but before I do that, I must charge it fully to have the maximum experience. I charged the Hellas Headphone using its connector in my desktop for exactly 2 hours, as indicated in the user manual. I was ready using it in my first round of test, jogging using Hellas Headphone.
I had fun using it since it was the first headphone that I used with a touch interface during fitness activity. I enjoyed using the touch commands such as swipe down to decrease volume, swipe upward to increase volume, swipe forward to play next song then swipe backward to play previous song. I can move my head and body freely without the wires of the traditional earphone that I have.
This Hellas Active Headphone has so much to offer for an active individual like me. Firstly, unlike the other conventional type of earphone or headset, I can move hassle-free doing physical activities such as jogging and working-out in the gym. Secondly, I can switch the songs I like without looking in the sound source because I can navigate easily via its Touch Interface. Thirdly, after I drenched sweat for intensely working out, I can remove the headband and ear cushion to wash it and use it again in my next activity, truly hygienic! Lastly, I love its easy connectivity to other device and its sound quality doesn’t depend on the kind of sound source you have. It’s very convenient and stress-free to use.
However, there are other cons for this gadget, I cannot wear it with some activities that will require me to bend my head down because it seems like it will fall from my head so when I’m using it, I try to make my head to be steady and straight. There are also times that the touch interface is sensitive while in motion. Also, I experienced trouble reconnecting it again in my Smartphone when I tried disconnecting it while my Bluetooth is open. I think, there should be another troubleshooting instruction when you disconnected it then you want to reconnect it in the same device again.
