Marikina is well known as the shoe capital of the Philippines, but nowadays Marikina is adding up to its list of having some of the best restaurants, food parks or food trucks in the city. Slowly, many start-ups or successful restaurant entrepreneurs have set-up their own restaurants or food concepts in Marikina and one good example is the newly opened food haven the Lamp Quarters.

Composed of three fun loving couples who adore good food and drinks while sharing good memories about life and family in each other’s company. As a family, that is bound with lifelong friendships they wanted to create a happy environment for themselves and for their kids of all ages. With that goal it would further bond them of wanting a venue to promote, support and help local entrepreneurs especially living in the east of Manila, that’s the reason Lamp Quarters was built.

Lamp Quarters is located at Mayor Gil Fernando Avenue and starts opening from 10:00AM. It’s a perfect place to enjoy and share delectable food choices together in the company of your friends or family. At this venue you will see talented entrepreneurs and start-ups showcasing their cooking talents and craftsmanship in the community. It offers value for money dining experience with that lip-smacking food that you will surely comeback.

It has an open-aired garden courtyard with lighted trees and lamps with the cool late afternoon breeze that creates a romantic and relaxing environment. It also provides an eclectic feel that combines old and new together. Perfect for a fun-filled family bonding and pet friendly place to unwind, relax and enjoy each others company. Lamp Quarters can also accommodate private parties or events for that special occasion.

Ahlee’s

Established on August 2015, it opened its doors on November 15, 2015 located at One Fifty Maginhawa Food Park, this is Ahlee’s 2nd branch at Lamp Quarters. Surely your taste buds will ignite when you try some of their dishes like the Rocket Salad with Greek Vinaigrette, Ahlee’s T-Back Steaks, Josiah’s Baby Back Ribs, Lemon Butter Shrimp, Crab Maritess and a whole lot more.

Bubba Lab

Started in 2011 by lab partners who were based on Singapore, by April 2012 its first store opened at C&B Mall, Marikina Heights which was relaunched on July 2016 with a bigger and better lab ambiance. At Lamp Quarters, Bubba Lab turned its ambiance into a Neo-Victorian Lab with Green Architecture and a Instagram-worthy spots to have selfies or groupies with friends or family. It offers a selection of drinks from Tea, Juice and Coffee plus finger food snacks like fries, fish fillet etc.

Chives Bistro and Market

The menu is a whirlwind of flavors from Europe and Asia with French, Italian, Spanish cooking techniques incorporate Asian elements intended to cater the Filipino palate. Some of their bestsellers are: Truffled Mushroom Pasta (Php250), Chives House Salad (Php195), Pork Belly Crisp (Php295) and Signature Ribs (Php350)

Dong Juan

Established in 2007, Dong Juan was developed with Cebu Market in mind with Cebuanos being a penchant for good food, reasonable prices and adequate serving size. As it is originated from the south, it offers All-time favorites with a flavorful twist, exciting atmosphere and an excellent service where people truly enjoy coming to eat. On its menu they serve pizza, burgers, pasta, salads, fritters that you will surely enjoy and be comfortable as well as the price.

Mehana by Yordanovi

It’s a Bulgarian Restaurant with a food court type setting adopting Balkan interior aesthetics from its interiors and display. Yordanovi owners Plamen and Cris teamed up with another Bulgarian-Filipino couple Angel and Rachel and together they aim to serve a wider audience with a typical Bulgarian dining experience. A must-try from the menu is their Handmade Sausage, Kavarma, Bulgarian BBQ, Vreteno, Green Salad or Kyufte.

Silyo – Pampanga Cuisine

Silyo has been serving Filipino families for more than a year and now they are with Lamp Quarters to serve more of their best tasting food the Kapampangan way. They offer a variety of traditional recipes of Pampanga, from pica-pica to ulam all prepared to impress and make your dining experience unforgettable.

Wingfather Wings & Booze

It started as a small mafia-themed chicken wing joint inside a food park in Visayas Avenue. Wingfather Wings & Booze lets you loosen up with a perfect blend of crafted drinks, delectable food and well-curated music. Developed from the crafty mind renowned celebrity chef Luigi Muhlach, its entrée in the menu offers a plethora of bold and gritty renditions to classic culinary favorites. A must-try is their Boy-Bawang Crusted Chicken Wings, Philly-Cheese Steak Deep Fried Burritos and Chichabacon.
